This is the 99th post so we are heading for a milestone. The 100th post will be for paid subscribers only, and it will deal with the history of reincarnation in Christianity in particular and Western religions in general.
As a special reward, all founding members will be given a discount coupon for life for retail purchases on Bioethika International, the site with the most complete listing of products.
We will also be launching a monthly Zoom-type seminar for paid subscribers, to start in August. Subscribers can submit questions in advance and Balaji will monitor the sessions so that comments and queries can be addressed.

As with many other Substack writers, the move was motivated by the difficulty reaching my readers due to censorship. If I understand the recent Supreme Court ruling, the government cannot legally interfere with social media platforms content policies, but at this juncture, we have only recovered 4% of the original list, uphill is not quite the right word for this.
For today, what I would like to address is partly a sequel to Sound of Freedom which I have not yet seen, but friends have said the film is extremely well produced.
Before saying what I plan to say, I want to tell a little story. It took place on a trans-Atlantic voyage. I was upset that the rules that applied to me did not apply to my younger sister. I remember a very long corridor with heavy steel walls painted white. I heard a voice saying, “Compassion is more precious than justice.” Eighteen years later, my mother asked me what happened when I was twelve . . . it seems she was clairvoyant and added, “when you were born, there was no green in your aura, but it appeared when you were twelve.” As it turned out, my sister studied law . . . and you pretty much know which direction my life took.
Well-trained astrologers have for countless incarnations been advisors to courts. The purpose is to guide the rulers in such a manner that they fulfill their mandates to bring their realms into alignment with the laws of heaven.
There are massive conflicts that arise when the love of power is stronger than the love of honor. Whether we are looking at this evil or that evil, we are challenged to find the most skillful use of will. Obviously, many have broken the law and caused incredible suffering. They can be pursued, arrested, judged, and sentenced; but we are talking about huge enterprises that are morally bankrupt. This is not merely about trafficking, but there are irregularities in the military-industrial complex, in the finance industry, in the food and pharmaceutical industries, so what is the best solution? If everyone involved is faced with confiscation of ill-begotten gains and incarceration, the tensions will escalate and most likely affect more innocent people. If there are no consequences at all, justice will not be served.
This is where an avenue to redemption must be created. In the last few weeks, I have devoted a lot of time to explaining the original teachings on ho’oponopono and have also compared this Hawaiian method to vipassana meditation and a third possibility that I actually hope is the outcome.
Ho’oponopono
In Hawaii, there is a group process for resolving grievances that is overseen by an elder. It is a one-shot attempt to allow people to explain their issues and to give the offender insight into what is causing disharmony. If the offender tries to justify the behavior on the basis of this or that argument, the persons present can comment and/or give reasons for accepting or rejecting the points of view. Before anyone can leave the room, the problems must be sincerely resolved, after which there are no further consequences. Guilt and the fear of reprisals dissipate and the plaintiffs accept that the offender is sincere and will mend his ways.
From a psychological perspective, what matters is that the offender is repentant so further action is not required. Those who were hurt by the offender accept that further recrimination and consequences are off the table, but forgiveness may or may not be offered. A truce, however, is the sought after outcome.
Vipassana Meditation
This is a technique involving very deep introspection, absolute silence, and total openness to seeing the inner self. It is being used among hard core criminals in India as well as Buddhist monks and lay persons. It is not about others. It is about oneself, one’s own clarity and purity of motivation, and about taking responsibility for actions that have created karma or that might generate further karma if not held in check.
Anger is not a justification for revenge. One must conquer oneself before one unleashes hostility on another. Everyone can benefit by this practice but it requires a significant commitment of time, total sincerity and honesty, and continuous effort until the goal is achieved. If it is reached, not only is the meditator freed but all those involved in the disharmony are benefit by the dissolution of tensions.
If the practitioner of vipassana meditation has committed an offense, the goal is to find the place in oneself that was off-balance. One must see oneself clearly, strive to correct the imbalances, and to forgive oneself for acting out in a manner that harmed others. This therefore involves repentance and realignment of self.
Exile
As hinted, I feel this is a solution, and what I would like is if all the people involved in debasing our civilization were transferred to another planet. I do not believe this is an impossibility, but there is a risk of a fake event . . . which would obviously not serve the purpose.
A variation of this idea would be exile to a penal colony, but we would expect criminals to have contingency plans so it is less secure than help from off planet. So, how possible or likely would a transfer of many thousands of people be? I think it is within the realms of possibility, not because aliens are interfering with life on Earth but because the Earth is important enough that it must be protected from a worst case scenario involving playing the last card to stay so as to stay in power.
I have long expected a significant alien presence and pray it happens sooner rather than later. Once it occurs, everything on Earth will improve very rapidly. The land will heal, our food and water will become healthy, and the Earth itself will be more stable.

I wanted to comment on the Sound of Freedom movie. I saw it yesterday. It is well-produced. And it is so sad. It shook my wife a bit as she had a bad experience with a child predator when she was growing up. What they tried to make people aware of is how rampant the child trafficking reality is. We all have to do our part, no matter how small the part is. I think making people aware is a good step. The dark recesses of this industry makes it physically difficult to destroy. The men and women in high places taking part in this darkness is appalling. The movie brought tears to my eyes. More people need to see it. It only ran for 3 days in our local theater which in itself is sad. Just my thoughts . . .
