Thank you for your many kind wishes while I was out of commission. The short version is that the grocery store was under renovation; and the proper safety measures, including sealing off the dusty and dirty parts from all who were not properly trained for working in such conditions were ignored. I became ill almost instantly with a very high fever. It was a long haul.
Meanwhile, I have been saving this aria for a long time. The short list had about eight sopranos from relatively new divas to Teresa Berganza and Monserrat Caballé, but this is my favorite. Enjoy!
Im so sorry you have been sick . Are you saying the dust from construction at a grocery market made you sick ?
Dear Ingrid... I was finaly able to get in, but it was not easy. Substack was sending this note to my other email address. It kept saying I must "subscribe" in order to post. Then I found in small print "change accounts" so clicked on that with the other email address, the one I used for the subscription. From there substack sent me a link and here I am. I too missed hearing from you and pray for your complete and total healing, hoping there will be no lingering effects.
