This post is a sequel to the previous one on committing to opening to spiritual awareness. There was an even earlier precursor that is actually a quite important read and is extremely practical. There are forces that aspire to benefit from our spiritual ignorance so the interference with the functioning of our normal methods of perception is intentional and requires countermeasures if we are to overcome the obstacles. Meanwhile, I will meander a bit and hopefully lay a foundation for accessing what is meant to be part of the normal human apparatus for higher awareness.
