The intention during the eclipse last night was healing - for you, our Earth Mother and all beings in the Sacred Space we call home and beyond. Healing for ourselves, each other and every living thing. Thank you for all your enlightening posts, wisdom and knowledge on so many topics. We are blessed.
Ingrid, thanks, and perhaps you know: The Wise Wound (1978-2015 revisions) by Penelope Shuttle and Peter Redgrove explains a lot about the Moon, menstruation, the subjugation of women and girls, for millennia. IMHO it's among the most profound books ever written, "Thoroughly researched [indexed and bibliographically referenced] yet highly readable, combining psychology, anthropology, and poetry, the authors illustrate their theories using examples ranging from the Bible to such modern horrors as vampire movies and the cult film The Exorcist... Originally published in 1978, The Wise Wound was the first book to discuss menstruation and became a bestseller that remains as relevant today as when it initially appeared." (That's from the back cover of the 2015 edition.) IMHO it's more relevant today :)
