This is a fabulous video. If you have ever had an issue with Mold, this series is for you. Ingrid is one of the foremost researchers on the planet. Her experiences all over the world, training and service make her a leading resource for those wishing to know more.
I followed "Mold Talks" with Michael Rubino, the indoor air quality specialist who interviews people who have suffered for many years before discovering that the cause was mold. Many mold victims could not work for years from the debilitating state of mind, many received wrong diagnoses including cancer. Michael talks about property remediation, but I could not find much information about herbal products for health remediation. It looks like Dr. Naiman is the only one who has created and tested an herbal series of products specifically geared for mold health remediation. Great video!
Thank you, Lana! It was definitely life or death for me, but I was fortunate enough to find what would work. It's my pleasure to share my information and the hope it brings.
We seem to find the right wavelength for communication easily. The problem you have described will be one of topics covered in detail in the series that is coming up. In the meantime, I might suggest that you only use a vacuum cleaner with proper HEPA filtration. The dampness and musty smell cannot be good for anyone so you might want to diffuse essential oils in the basement, but you probably cannot overcome the dampness without significant investment. In the meantime, for your own personal safety, you should make sure that the air from the basement is not circulating through the rest of the house. This obviously depends on the design of the ventilation and heating systems. Since the rest of the house can be maintained with a broom and mop, perhaps the vacuum cleaner can be used only in the basement unless it really is a HEPA vac.
Since I have your e-mail, I will send you a few suggestions privately so that you manage this challenge in the best way possible.
In a way, I know about them. I recall reading a lot about them and being extremely curious but deciding against using them for some reason, a reason that eludes me at this time.. Have you tried them?

Thank you for this wonderful introduction film. Even thought I'm in your mold class. This was lovely and informative.
